Introduction To hypnosis
Hypnosis is a scientifically verified and effective technique that can help you change your behaviour, improve your mental health and even quit bad habits. You can use hypnosis to lose weight, to stop drinking and smoking,to set goals and even to increase self confidence.Hypnosis process involves getting you in a very relaxed state where you subconscious mind becomes open and receptive for receiving suggestions, and so using those suggestions new beliefs and thoughts could be sent to the mind.
Myths surrounding hypnosis
The media misused its right by mutating the picture people have for hypnosis, today when you say the word hypnosis in front of someone the first thing he will think of is that you will make him sleep then ask him to accomplish some crime, while on the contrary to this hypnosis is a scientific method that is approved for use as a method of therapy since long time ago.

Hypnosis does not involve being totally unconscious nor sleeping instead you stay conscious and aware of what is surrounding while being hypnotized but the only difference is that your conscious mind becomes a little bit dormant than its usually is and your subconscious mind becomes a little bit more vigilant than it normally is.Using hypnosis you cannot force someone to do what he doesn’t want to do nor say what he doesn’t want to say, just think of hypnosis as a state of a very deep relaxation while being receptive to suggestions but still aware of the surroundings.What is the state of hypnosis like?the state of hypnosis is exactly the same as the state you experience when you stay in bed just before you fall asleep, its the state of being half awake or half sleeping. This state is called trance state.During the trance state the conscious mind becomes a little less effective and so it does not filter the suggestions and information received, instead it allows everything in.Under normal circumstances you won’t believe anything that you hear, because your conscious mind filters whatever it does not like, so if I told you that you are a confident person you may not believe me, however under the state of trance your conscious mind wont be there to filter this information and so it will go directly to the subconscious and stay there.

Even in television advertisements, if you saw pepsi commercial telling you that you must buy pepsi while being fully awake, it may not have a great impact on you , however if you were to experience that while being in hypnotic state you may go and buy pepsi immediately because the suggestions and affirmations went unfiltered by the conscious mind.And that’s why some companies used subliminal messages to program the minds of the audience to buy more of their product while watching their commercials which resulted in a larger sales volume.After knowing this, you may have already guessed that if you bypassed someone's conscious mind you may be able to convince him with what you want because your opinion will go unfiltered to his subconscious mind,just like the company in the previous example did.
What i can do with hypnosis?
Hypnosis is very useful because being in such a state where the subconscious is more awake ,it becomes very easy to program it, to put new beliefs or to strengthen the old ones,and since the subconscious mind is what controls behaviour and senses, we can install totally new behaviour patterns.Think of the strength and control you will have on yourself when having ability to modify the old unwanted beliefs and thoughts, think of what your life will be like if you were able to remove the negative beliefs about yourself self image, about being inferior or about being unable to succeed. Using self hypnosis all of this can come true.
Self hypnosis
What is great about hypnosis is that you can do all of process alone by hypnotizing yourself then using a recorded tape for suggestions, so you wont be in need for someone else to help you. This process is called self hypnosis. If you want to try self hypnosis(don't worry its safe) just go ahead and a grab any small object that you can tie to a thread to form a small pendulum, after doing so hold the thread from above and let the pendulum freely swing sideways , then focus on the pendulum while its swinging and start to visualize the small object going into round circles instead of just going sideways, few moments later you will find that the object moving in circles although you didn't do that on intention, what happened here is that the suggestions went to your subconscious mind and caused your muscles to move in such a way so that it drove the object in a circular motion,congratulations,you have just made your first successful hypnosis experiment !!

Self hypnosis is almost the same as this experiment you just did , the only difference is that you will be in the deep trance state(the state where you your conscious mind will be half awake) while hearing suggestions . Let's look at a real self hypnosis test this time . Go on and do the following steps:
1-Go to a calm place where you can relax and where no one can disturb you.
2-Lie on your back on a bed or comfortable sofa.
3-Close your eyes and start to breath deeply, the more deep you can breath the higher the success percentage.
4-Start now to focus on each part of your body and visualize it relaxing. for example focus your thinking on your right arm,feel it and then visualize it relaxing,you can use words like "relax" or phrases like "i am relaxing now",after relaxing your right arm turn your focus to your left arm and do the same , and so on until you pass by all of your body parts,finally focus on your whole body and visualize it all relaxing.
5-You can repeat that several times until you feel you are really about to sleep.
6-Now imagine that a a helium balloon is tied to your right arm and that it is pulling it up and that the helium balloon is so large so that it can lift your arm up, keep imagining the balloon pulling your arm up.
7-Wow, your arm may have started to fly up!! , again you are successful!!Using self hypnosis you can acieve remarkable milestone.But its not as simple as it seem to be.Remember you may not succeed in a first few attempts but never lose hope.Constant practice can only help you be like one whom you want to.
The question which arise now is if it is so simple why dosent everybody use it and be candid.Well there are two reasons for it:
(A)The right technique has always been preserved by the professionals.You may find it in many books and internet articles but the correct method is always kept confidential.Before presenting this article i tried consulting expert psycologists and extraxt the maximum possible.Additional information has been incorporated from books written on human behaviour and fundamental reflexes.
(B)The second widespread reason for this method being unpopular with the common folk is that such things have always been mentioned in films,science fictions and all super human affairs making it people to believe "its never possible","just a waste of time"etc.But i firmly believe that if you perform all what i just mentioned above in the right manner and without losing your hope you will surely succeed.I personally believe,practising once a day,it takes nearly 1 month to 40 days to see a considerable change in your life.
